Organic Ecology Resources:

The production of Organic food is motivated and underpinned by strong beliefs about how the land should be used in synergy with nature; it is also a rich and interesting subject in its own right, with fascinating techniques used at every opportunity to achieve the highest possible quality and taste of produce.

We believe that as a complementary strand to Consumer Trace, background information about the Organic industry - how it works, why people believe in it, etc. - will be useful and interesting to the Consumer.

To this end, we have written:

  • A Frequently Asked Questions page (FAQ) to deal with some of the more commonly-asked questions about the organic world.
  • A glossary, which covers obscure terms and jargon used within this site and in the organic world at large.
  • An extensive page of links to sources that expand upon this site, and fill in its gaps.
If you have anything to add to these resources - suggest a link, perhaps, or ask a question for the FAQ - please drop us a line at feedback@organicecology.com
